Senior Quantity Surveyor Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Taylor Woodrow, a world-class infrastructure company. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional infrastructure projects across the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the Early Contractor Involvement phase of the project
  • Prepare and analyse project budgets, forecasts, and reports
  • Lead procurement processes, negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors
  • Manage contractual risks, providing advice to the project team
  • Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and the project team to ensure financial objectives are met
  • Prepare and negotiate valuations, final accounts, and variations
  • Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions
Requirements
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
  • Chartered status with RICS (or working towards)
  • Extensive experience in a Senior Quantity Surveyor role, ideally within large civil engineering or infrastructure projects
  • Tendering and ECI experience
  • Strong knowledge of NEC contracts and commercial management best practices
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in relevant software packages
