HSE Compliance Expert

We are looking for a seasoned Perenco's HSE Ambassador to join our team.
The successful candidate will be based onshore at our Dimlington Terminal, working Monday to Friday. They will promote, develop, and maintain a Health, Safety, and Environmentally aware Asset using combined specialist knowledge of team members.
This role is crucial in providing comprehensive HSE support to the site and associated NUIs. The HSE Ambassador will:
- Monitor, audit, and assure work control processes
- Coach operational staff to maintain and improve HSE performance
- Ensure all duties relating to Occupational Health Hygiene and Safety are carried out effectively and efficiently
Key Responsibilities include:
HSE Performance- Act as point of contact for all HSE issues and support for the site
- Carry out induction and orientation training for new starts and visitors
- Implement Perenco UK Ltd HSE policies, site standards, and objectives
- Contribute to HSE performance as a position holder and individual
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in a UK regulatory framework, including delivery of regulatory requirements
- NEBOSH Health & Safety Certificate (Diploma preferred)
- Occupational Hygiene Qualifications (Core modules in Asbestos, COSHH, Noise, Vibration) preferred but not essential
