At Babcock International Group, we're looking for a skilled Shiplift Operator to join our team at our Faslane site.

The estimated salary for this role is £35,000 per year, depending on location and experience. As a Shiplift Operator, you'll be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of Shiplift systems and equipment.

You'll work closely with our maintenance team to ensure that all planned preventative maintenance is completed, and defects are repaired in a timely manner. You'll also be involved in the inspection and changing of wire ropes, as well as crane maintenance and slingng and fleeting activities.

To be successful in this role, you'll need a recognised Rigging Apprenticeship or equivalent, and experience in handling maintenance documentation. You must also be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
