About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Social Worker to join our Mental Health Practitioner team in Milton Keynes CAMHS. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with children, young people, and their families to provide comprehensive assessments and interventions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of children and young people's mental health needs
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to support children and young people's mental health and well-being
  • Work closely with the Safeguarding Children Team to provide advice and guidance on social care eligibility and care pathways
  • Represent the service at key stakeholder meetings to promote collaboration and partnership working
Person Specification
  • Social Work qualification and current registration
  • Demonstrable experience post qualification in a social work setting working with vulnerable children and families
  • Experience of working with children and young people who have serious mental illness
  • Experience in completing comprehensive assessments in mental health or health and social needs
