Mental Health Practitioner Social Worker

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Practitioner Social Worker to join our team at Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Milton Keynes CAMHS team, you will work closely with children, young people, and their families to provide comprehensive assessments and interventions.
Main Responsibilities
As a Mental Health Practitioner Social Worker, you will be responsible for:
- Providing social work assessments and interventions to children and young people accessing our service
- Working closely with the Safeguarding Children Team to provide advice and guidance to the wider Milton Keynes CAMHS team
- Actively supporting and monitoring children, young people, and their families to ensure a comprehensive package of care post-discharge
Person Specification
We are looking for a candidate with:
- A Social Work qualification and current registration
- Demonstrable experience post-qualification in a social work setting working with vulnerable children and families
- Experience of working with children and young people who have serious mental illness
