Job Title:

Academic Lead for Key Stage 2

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced teacher to join our progressive school in Cambridgeshire as an Academic Lead for Key Stage 2. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching the Key Stage 2 curriculum, promoting teamwork and a conducive learning environment, and tracking student progress.

Responsibilities:
  • Pastoral care of students, ensuring their well-being and academic success.
  • Teaching the Key Stage 2 curriculum, meeting individual learning targets, and delivering high-quality lessons.
  • Tracking student progress, reporting back to parents, and collaborating with colleagues to enhance the educational experience.
Requirements:
  • Qualified teacher status, PGCE, or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience teaching Key Stage 2 students and preparing them for SATs exams.
  • Ability to deliver excellent academic results, foster a positive learning environment, and maintain effective relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
Salary:

£40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
