Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Upper Key Stage 2 teacher to join our primary school based in Cambridgeshire. As a Year 4 Teacher, you will be responsible for the pastoral care of children taking their first steps in Key stage 2.

The ideal candidate will have relevant qualifications, experience teaching Upper Key stage 2, and the confidence to hit the ground running. They will be able to commute to Cambridgeshire via public transport.

This is a 2-form entry school located in Cambridgeshire with a friendly environment that welcomes early career teachers (ECTs) with open arms.

Responsibilities
  • Promote teamwork and cultivate a conducive learning environment among students.
  • Teach the Key stage 2 curriculum to groups of children, focusing on individual learning targets, encouraging strengths, and improving weaknesses.
  • Further develop maths ability and introduce fractions, statistics, and geometry.
  • Help children develop their writing ability by creating plots, characters, and settings for stories.
  • Keep track of children's progress and occasionally report back to parents.
About the Role

We estimate the salary for this role to be around £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled teacher to make a real difference in the lives of our students.
