Key Responsibilities:

  • Unlock the leisure centre and set up facilities for the day
  • Manage day-to-day operations, including customer queries, team management, and facility maintenance
  • Ensure the centre is clean, safe, and secure
  • Supervise staff and provide guidance and support as needed
  • Assist with the recruitment, training, and development of staff
  • Monitor and maintain pool and gym operations, ensuring compliance with safety procedures
  • Prepare areas and equipment for sessions as required
  • Responsible for the efficient and effective control of the day-to-day operations and service of the centre
  • Ensure all pool safety and operating procedures are in place
  • Maintain good housekeeping systems and assist management to effect improvement plans for energy conservation and resource maximisation
  • Supervise all staff on shift, effectively and efficiently allocating work and carrying out any other duties as required
