About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HR Coordinator to join our team at the Timpson Group in Manchester. As an HR Coordinator, you will play a key role in providing support to our colleagues and area teams, ensuring the smooth operation of our HR functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide accurate and practical advice on all areas of Human Resources/Colleague Support, including recruitment and selection, employee relations, policy interpretation and implementation, reward/recognition, and development.
  • Support on a wide range of topics, including capability, discipline, grievance, performance management programs, and absence management, ensuring action takes place in line with Company procedures and practice.
  • Maintain accurate records and databases for reports to be efficiently compiled.
  • Ensure the appropriate implementation of Timpson policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Work closely with the payroll and department colleagues to maintain, communicate, and ensure the effective running of the department's administration function.
  • Play a key role in department ad-hoc projects.
Requirements
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in an HR Advisory role.
  • Ability to demonstrate solid experience in a Generalist HR advisory role or similar.
  • Experience in maintaining a computerized database.
  • Knowledge of good HR policy and practice.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
