Job Title: SEN Teacher

Location: Sheffield

Salary: £145 - £205 per day

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive school in Sheffield. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and a commitment to creating inclusive and engaging learning environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons tailored to the unique needs of SEN students
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support as needed
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and outside agencies to ensure the best possible outcomes for students
  • Maintain a safe and supportive classroom environment at all times

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience working with students with SEN, including knowledge of strategies and interventions
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
