Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Sourcing Excellence Lead to join our team at Classified Jobs. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in driving Sourcing Excellence initiatives and projects, maintaining a best-in-class sourcing practice, and applying advanced sourcing processes, techniques, tools, and practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • 1. Leading Regional Sourcing Excellence Initiatives:
    • Analyze existing sourcing processes with a focus on supply chain and procurement inefficiencies, identifying opportunities for improvement.
    • Design and implement optimized sourcing processes that align with global standards and regional supply chain needs.
  • 2. Global Reporting and Performance Management:
    • Understand the leading industry approach to sourcing performance management and reporting and streamline implementation.
    • Develop and maintain a set of reports on sourcing performance across all clients.
    • Ensure that these are understood and used globally by all relevant members of the sourcing community.
    • Champion to the use of our standard methods on all clients, and ensure that any agreed deviations or nuances are reflected in reporting and understood by all stakeholders.
    • Work with Global Sourcing Leads to ensure that tool use by sourcers feeds global reports correctly.
  • 3. Process Improvement and Automation:
    • Utilize prompt engineering skills to enhance the automation and efficiency of sourcing and procurement processes.
    • Ensure that new processes deliver measurable benefits, such as cost reductions, improved efficiency, and enhanced sourcing outcomes.
  • 4. Collaboration and Change Management:
    • Collaborate with Regional Management teams, including Supply Chain and Procurement Leads, to address deficiencies in sourcing practices.
    • Facilitate cross-functional teams to drive the adoption of new sourcing processes, tools, and techniques.
    • Develop and execute change management strategies to support the successful implementation of new processes.
  • 5. Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
    • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor the effectiveness of sourcing and procurement processes.
    • Regularly report on process performance to Global Sourcing Excellence leadership.
  • 6. Training and Development:
    • Provide training and support to sourcing and procurement teams on new processes, tools, and prompt engineering techniques.
    • Conduct onboarding sessions for new sourcers and procurement specialists, ensuring they are familiar with the company's sourcing methodologies and tools.
  • 7. Risk Management and Compliance:
    • Identify and mitigate risks associated with sourcing activities to ensure compliance with regulatory and client standards.
    • Ensure that sourcing and procurement teams adhere to the company's internal controls and standards.
  • 8. Global Sourcing Excellence Initiatives:
    • Co-design and lead the implementation of global Sourcing Excellence initiatives, with a strong emphasis on procurement best practices.
    • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including the CEO EMEA, Client Account Managers, and Global Leads, to drive sourcing and procurement excellence initiatives.

Requirements

  • 1. Proven Experience and Expertise:
    • Experience in Project Management with a strong Focus on Processes and Tools. Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking abilities.
    • Expertise in prompt engineering and the application of AI-driven tools to enhance sourcing and procurement processes.
  • 2. Leadership and Collaboration Skills:
    • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, particularly within supply chain, procurement, reporting and IT.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
