Primary Support Worker

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to support our SEMH Specialist Teacher in delivering a high-quality, personalised curriculum to children with additional needs.
The successful candidate will work within our modern Resource Base to develop an enhanced provision for students who require additional support to access their education in an inclusive and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with the SEMH Specialist Teacher to deliver a tailored curriculum that meets individual student needs
- Assist in preparing the learning environment, liaising with staff, maintaining pupil records, and undertaking administrative tasks
- Participate in break and lunchtime activities, including setting up play provision or helping with family dining arrangements
- Support students in learning to read, leading PE and Games sessions, participating in school trips and residentials, and mentoring/tutoring individual students
- Relevant experience of working with children with SEMH
- Passion for supporting and educating primary-aged children
- Commitment to being a positive, nurturing, and supportive role model
This is a full-time position, and we estimate the salary to be around £25,000-£35,000 per annum.
