About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Swim Teacher to join our team at Freedom Leisure. As a Swim Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering swimming lessons to customers of all ages and abilities, ensuring they feel supported and are achieving their goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach swimming to children and/or adults as part of the Leisure Centre's swimming lesson programme, according to qualification, training and experience
  • Communicate with the children's parents/guardians concerning their development, and advise on their progression through the programme
  • Assist in the supervision of customers in the swimming pool and surrounds, ensuring their safety and discipline
  • Excellent communication skills with a genuine desire to work closely with customers
  • An ability to deal with children and their parents
  • Level 2 swim teaching qualification
  • DBS check

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Level 2 swim teaching qualification and a DBS check. You will also need to have excellent communication skills and the ability to deal with children and their parents.
