About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dental Clinical Supervisor to support our innovative training scheme in collaboration with the NHS ICB teams.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing clinical supervision and support to overseas qualified dentists in a general dental practice environment.

This is a flexible part-time opportunity to work in our training scheme 2 or 3 days a week, allowing you to balance your clinical commitments and support teaching and training.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical supervision and support to up to 4 overseas qualified dentists in a general dental practice environment.
  • Liaise with our clinical team to monitor the progress and abilities of the dentists.
  • Attend training and meetings as required to maintain your skills and competencies.
  • Assess and grade the treatment provided and professionalism of the dentists.
  • Maintain a high level of pastoral support for the dental students and report any issues arising.
Requirements
  • Full GDC registration as a dentist or specialist and active NHS performer number.
  • Minimum 4 years post-qualification experience as a general dentist.
  • Previous experience in teaching or mentoring is desirable.
