Join Our Team as a Materials Scientist

Viatris is a leading global pharmaceutical company dedicated to empowering people worldwide to live healthier at every stage of life. We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Materials Scientist to join our Global Respiratory Group.

As a Materials Scientist, you will play a critical role in the development of respiratory medicines, working closely with our team of experts to design, develop, and test innovative products. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Executing experiments to generate scientific understanding in development of analytical methods, formulations, and processes.
  • Performing analyses related to clinical supplies, stability, and process scale-up.
  • Highlighting aberrant or suspect results and working with supervisor to investigate.
  • Maintaining laboratory documentation in accordance with good documentation practices.
  • Contributing to project delivery by carrying out other tasks as required.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in analytical chemistry, excellent IT skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will also need to be familiar with modern instrumental methods of analysis, such as particle sizing, FT-IR, SEM, and thermal analysis techniques.
