Overview
Greencore Group Ltd is a leading manufacturer of convenience food in the UK. Our purpose is to make everyday taste better.

The company has a vast direct-to-store (DTS) distribution network, comprising 17 depots nationwide. This enables us to make over 10,400 daily deliveries of our own chilled and frozen produce and that of third parties.

We are currently implementing the Making Business Easier (MBE) Programme to streamline and simplify core processes. This will provide easier access to quality business data and invest in the right technology to enable these processes.

This presents a huge opportunity for colleagues across the technology function to play a central role in the design, shape, delivery, and execution of an enterprise-wide digital transformation programme.

Job Summary
We are seeking a Field-based Testing Lead to manage and lead a team of QA Analysts. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality testing services across all IT initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience leading or managing QA teams in IT or related fields. Strong knowledge of testing practices, including functional, regression, and performance testing, is required. Familiarity with QA automation tools (e.g. Selenium, Appium) and manual testing approaches is also necessary.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage and lead a team of QA Analysts to deliver high-quality testing services
• Implement and enforce QA processes to ensure consistent adherence to the QA framework and testing methodologies
• Plan and allocate resources effectively to maximise productivity and outcomes
• Monitor and report on testing progress to track and communicate testing risks and outcomes
• Support automation initiatives by working closely with the Head of Testing & QA to implement and expand automated testing strategies and tools within the team

Requirements
• Proven experience leading or managing QA teams in IT or related fields
• Strong knowledge of testing practices, including functional, regression, and performance testing
• Familiarity with QA automation tools (e.g. Selenium, Appium) and manual testing approaches
• Ability to mentor and develop a team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment
• Excellent communication and reporting skills to provide clear updates on progress and challenges

• Competitive salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience
