This is an exciting opportunity to join Colas Rail UK as an OTM Driver/Fitter/Operator. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining on-track machines (OTMs) in a safe and efficient manner.
We are looking for a skilled and motivated individual with a background in engineering, preferably in electrical, mechanical, or hydraulic fields. If you have a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and a can-do attitude, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities- Operate OTMs in accordance with Railway Standards and Colas Rail's safety procedures.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on OTMs, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Collaborate with the Rail Plant Control Room and Help Desk to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures, reporting any incidents or near-misses to the relevant authorities.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.
