Desktop Surveyor Specialist

A Surveying Professional is required for a role involving the review of reports, information, and photos of damage to properties. The successful candidate will prepare scopes of work for reinstatement repairs following an insurance claim.
This is a home-based/hybrid role with opportunities for progression. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for reviewing surveys, reports, photos, and videos to create estimates/costs. You will also plan and oversee projects to completion, updating the company system and client portals throughout. Additionally, you will deal with variation orders and approve as necessary, preparing relevant paperwork such as CPP/RAMs. Liasing with policyholders, loss adjusters, and insurance companies is also essential for this role.
To be successful in this position, you will need to have surveying/scoping experience or experience as a claim handler/works scheduler within a contractor environment (insurance repairs). Familiarity with Blueprint, Xactimate, Symbility, or other similar estimating software is ideal. A bonus scheme and employee benefit schemes, including pension, life cover, and health cash plan, are available to the right candidate. The estimated salary for this role is £38,000 per annum depending on experience.
The ideal candidate will be able to work from the office as part of a team and possess excellent communication skills.
