Early Years Educator Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Early Years Educator to join our team as a Team Leader at our West Downs Day Nursery in Winchester. This is a unique opportunity to work in a leadership role, inspiring and supporting colleagues to deliver outstanding outcomes for children aged 0-5 years old.

About the Role

This is a full-time position (40 hours a week) working a variety of shifts between Monday-Friday, all-year-round. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of Early Years Educators, providing outstanding care and education for our children, and inspiring them to become happy and confident learners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Early Years Educators, providing guidance and support to ensure outstanding outcomes for children.
  • Develop and implement engaging and challenging learning experiences that meet the needs of all children.
  • Work closely with colleagues to ensure seamless transitions and a smooth running of the nursery.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote the well-being and safety of children and staff.

Requirements

  • Holds an early years qualification at level three or above and has demonstrable experience of working as part of a team in an early years setting.
  • Has excellent EYFS knowledge and is passionate about enabling children to become happy and confident learners.
  • Thrives in a busy, team-orientated environment, champions partnership working and is supportive and sensitive to the needs of others.
