Service Manager for Residential Family Assessment Centre

LANGTON N4P is seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead our residential family assessment centre in Tooting. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the assessment and support services at the centre.
Key Responsibilities:- Take overall responsibility for the assessment and support services based at the centre.
- Lead and manage the staff team, facilitating and empowering staff contributions to team discussions, decision making, day-to-day work, and the development of the service.
- Oversee specific assessments, including reading of court papers, planning and reviewing the assessment, supporting Keyworkers to compile reports, and supporting Keyworkers in giving evidence at Court.
- Attend and support weekly staff meetings, and facilitate and guide the family work discussions and case analysis.
- Experience in supporting families where there have been issues of child abuse/neglect.
- Successful leadership, support, and management of a team.
- Highly effective time management and organisational skills, with the ability to remain level-headed in a pressurised environment.
