About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Dimensions in Bromsgrove. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with learning disabilities and autism to live their lives to the fullest.
About the Individuals We Support
Our service users are two gentlemen and three ladies in their 50s-60s who enjoy a range of activities, including hydrotherapy, sensory sessions, and day trips. They have learning disabilities and autism and live together in a shared home, with some still having close relationships with their families.
Your Responsibilities
- Empower independence by supporting individuals to live their lives as they choose and achieve their goals.
- Provide daily living support, including attending appointments, personal care, meal support, shopping, cooking, cleaning, and laundry.
- Offer care and support, including electric hoisting, repositioning, wheelchair assistance, and supporting with medication.
Shift Patterns
We offer a range of shift patterns, including day shifts and evening shifts, with occasional cover for the waking night team. Rotas are provided in advance to support a healthy work-life balance.
