Deputy School Admissions Manager

About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy School Admissions Lead to join our dynamic team within the School Admissions Service. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Bristol City Council.
As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our school admissions process. You will be responsible for mentoring and supervising colleagues, providing expert guidance on projects, and analyzing data to inform service development.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day leadership and support to the School Admissions team, deputizing for the Service Lead in their absence.
- Collaborate closely with schools, local authorities, multi-academy trusts, and internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination.
- Utilize your analytical skills to produce reports, statistics, and information that support decision-making and service improvement.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of school admissions policies and procedures.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, encouraging teamwork and individual growth.
