Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Shift Supervisor to join our team at Starbucks in Thirsk. As a Shift Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the store, maintaining high standards of customer service, and leading a team of colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and motivate colleagues to ensure timely completion of duties
  • Promote a welcoming team environment, ensuring excellent customer service and up-selling products
  • Assist the Store Manager with stock control, ordering, banking, and administration
  • Maintain accurate records of stock and wastage
  • Actively participate in food preparation, ensuring compliance with Food Safety and Health & Safety policies
  • Maintain a vibrant, presentable, and clean store atmosphere

Requirements:

  • Previous supervisory experience in hospitality or retail preferred
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
