Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Assistant to join our team at Reed. As an HR Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our HR operations and contributing to the smooth running of the department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment Support: Assist with the recruitment process by identifying candidates, conducting reference checks, and issuing employment contracts.
  • Policy Implementation: Support the HR department in implementing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Employee Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, adhering to policy and legal requirements.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Review employment and working conditions to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Training and Development: Help organize and implement training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Employee Support: Provide support to employees on HR-related topics, such as leaves, compensation, and resolving issues that may arise.
  • Policy Development: Assist in the development and implementation of human resource policies to support business objectives.
  • HR Metrics and Analysis: Gather and analyze data on HR metrics, such as time to hire and employee turnover rates, to inform business decisions.

Requirements:

  • CIPD Level 3 Qualified: Possess a CIPD Level 3 qualification or equivalent.
  • HR Experience: Proven experience as an HR Assistant or relevant human resources/administrative position.
  • HR Systems and Databases: Knowledge of HR systems and databases, including HRIS.
  • Data Confidentiality: Ability to handle sensitive data with confidentiality.
  • Employment Laws and Disciplinary Procedures: Good understanding of employment laws and disciplinary procedures.
  • MS Office and HRIS: Proficient in MS Office and knowledge of HRIS is a plus.
  • Organizational and Time-Management Skills: Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
