Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Primary Supply Teacher to join our team at County Teachers Ltd, providing high-quality education across schools in Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire.

About the Position

The ideal candidate will be a passionate and adaptable teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification. They will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons across various subjects, ensuring continuity in the learning environment for students when their regular teacher is absent.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lesson Delivery: The successful candidate will deliver high-quality lessons as per provided lesson plans or create their own engaging content to suit the needs of the students.
  2. Classroom Management: Effective classroom behavior management skills are essential, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.
  3. Feedback and Support: The candidate will provide feedback to students and staff on progress, behavior, and any concerns, while also supporting students in their learning, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  4. Flexibility: The ability to adapt quickly to different school environments, teams, and teaching resources is crucial.

Requirements

  1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  2. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt to different school environments.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. A flexible and proactive approach to teaching.
  5. Experience teaching in a classroom setting is desirable, though newly qualified teachers (NQTs) are also welcome to apply.
  6. An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) is required.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of £25,714 - £41,604 per annum, depending on experience, plus opportunities for professional growth and development in a dynamic and supportive environment.
