About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Academic Specialist to join our team at Wayman Group. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering excellent teaching across Key Stages 4 and 5.

The successful applicant will work collaboratively with our school team to ensure all students receive a positive and engaging learning experience, adhering to safeguarding policies and promoting the welfare of all children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and assess students' progress and keep regular records of their academic performance.
  • Collaborate with school management, teaching staff, and parents to provide quality academic support for students.
  • Prepare and participate in school-related activities such as performances, events, and parent/teacher meetings.
  • Adhere to safeguarding policies and promote the welfare of all children.
Requirements:
  1. QTS or equivalent qualification.
  2. Degree in a relevant field - A Subject of Specialism.
  3. A recognized teaching qualification, preferably a Bachelor's degree in Education or any relevant field.
  4. Ability to adapt teaching styles to facilitate different learning styles.
  5. A passion for teaching and making a difference in students' lives.

This is an Outstanding Ofsted rated school that values high excellence and care for its students and community.

The salary for this role is paid to scale on a permanent contract following the MPS/UPS pay scale within the National pay scale (£30,000-£60,000 per year).
