Senior Client Adviser Opportunity

Migrant Help, a leading charity established in 1963, is seeking a Senior Client Adviser to join our Refugee Resettlement Team in Watford. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a competitive salary of £37,425 per annum.

Job Summary

As a Senior Client Adviser, you will provide line management and operational oversight of Refugee Resettlement Advisers, ensuring a high-quality support service to resettled refugee families and individuals. You will work closely with the Regional Manager to meet changing local business needs and re-prioritize work as necessary.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality advice and support services to refugees in line with contractual and organizational requirements.
  • Support the Regional Manager with administrative tasks, including responding to complaints and conducting risk assessments.
  • Offer first-line escalation for Refugee Resettlement Advisers on day-to-day operational matters and complex cases.
  • Support the Regional Manager in the recruitment and induction of new staff.
  • Oversee the development of training requirements and completion of mandatory training for staff.
  • Line manage and performance manage the staff team, ensuring all development requirements are met within agreed timescales.
  • Record and provide contract finance and performance reporting as per contract deadlines.
Requirements
  • Demonstrable ability to manage people and oversee performance management processes.
  • Comprehensive understanding of refugee resettlement processes and the challenges faced by refugees.
