Job Overview
Cambridge University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust seeks an experienced Record Engineer to join their Capital Planning and Development Team. As a Records Technician, you will work with the Records and Space Data Manager to maintain high-quality Estates information services.

The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of Facility Management terminology, data protection processes, and sound office procedures. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, are essential for success in this role.

This is a permanent position offering a competitive salary of £28,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience. A comprehensive benefits package, including flexible working arrangements, is also available.

About the Role
In this exciting opportunity, you will be responsible for maintaining facilities records in document, database, and drawings formats. You will work collaboratively with the Design Team to provide CAD capacity and support project management of designated schemes. Your duties will include prioritizing tasks, planning, and organizing your workload, as well as ensuring accurate data entry and producing high-quality electronic drawings.

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team providing a high-quality Estates information service to Addenbrooke's NHS Trust. To succeed in this role, you must have excellent time management skills, the ability to work autonomously, and demonstrate attention to detail. A sound understanding of equality and diversity principles is also essential.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must possess:
- Educated to HNC Level or NVQ Level 3/4
- Specific CAD related qualification or equivalent experience
- Graphical Information Systems awareness
- AutoCAD experience
- MiCAD or CAFM (Computerised Aided Facility Management) experience
- Experience of working in a busy office environment
- Prioritising, planning, and organising own and others' tasks
- Data entry experience
- Experience of IT packages Microsoft Office suite, i.e., Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Experience of producing electronic drawings to a high standard
- Experience in a facilities management environment
