Job SummaryWe are seeking a Food and Beverage Service Assistant to join our team at Meliá White House Hotel. As a Food and Beverage Service Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that all guests have a warm and welcoming experience in our outlets.
Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain high levels of respect and a professional image at all times.
- Maintain high levels of personal presentation and cleanliness in accordance with the hotel uniform and personal appearance standards.
- Welcome guests into the outlets in a warm, genuine and professional manner and address them by name where possible.
- Be fully conversant with all the items of food and beverage available and describe menu items in an informative and helpful manner.
- Assist guests in their selection of items and encourage additional sales.
- Take food and beverage orders and deliver them to the kitchen or bar area for preparation in a timely manner.
- Prepare and pour drinks when ordered and assist in the preparation of food items as required.
- Anticipate and identify guest expectations and ensure that their needs are met and where possible, exceed demand.
