We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Worker to join our team at Belvoir Home Care. As a Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personal care and support to clients, including assistance with daily living tasks, meal preparation, and medication management.
- Assist clients with mobility and transfer, as needed.
- Engage in activities with clients to promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure client needs are met and exceeded.
- Must have a genuine desire to help people and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care.
- Must have a good level of spoken English and be able to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Must have access to a vehicle and a valid driver's license.
- Should be motivated to enrich people's lives and be willing to participate in activities and outings with clients.
- Must be able to commit to some weekend working, usually one in two, to ensure a good work-life balance.
