EnerMech is seeking a skilled Rigging and Lifting Specialist to join our Cranes and Lifting department on a permanent basis. This role will involve working as part of our flying squad, operating ad-hoc trips offshore from Aberdeen. You will receive a retainer salary plus company benefits and day rates for any trips you commence.

Main Responsibilities
  • Implement all applicable company and project policies, working practices, and procedures to ensure rigging and erection work scope is completed in compliance with LOLER regulations and to a high standard of safety.
  • Complete all work scope in accordance with applicable work pack and job card instructions, associated procedures, and drawings and sketches.
  • Develop and implement lifting plans.
  • Provide support to other trades and disciplines as required, or form part of an integrated multi-discipline team.
  • Raise applicable Permit to Work (PTW) to complete work scope in a controlled and safe manner.
  • Undertake appropriate Risk Assessments (RA) to complete work scope in a safe and controlled manner.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a Rigging role.
  • Experience with inspection, service, repair, and test of all rigging and lifting equipment.
  • Hold an OPITO Level 3 Rigging Assessment, a Banksman/Slinger certificate, BOSIET/FOET, and an approved offshore medical.
  • A Level 3 Diploma in Moving Engineering Construction Loads is preferred but not essential.
