Job Overview

Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled and dedicated Staff Nurse to join our Interventional Radiology team. As a Staff Nurse in this dynamic and interesting department, you will be part of a small, established team of nurses, radiographers, Consultants, and support staff who are committed to providing our patients with the highest possible standard of care.

Main Duties of the Job

The ideal candidate will be competent in the clinical skill of intravenous drug administration, with additional training and support provided for the right candidate. You will learn a range of skills as a scrub nurse, circulating nurse, and in the pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-recovery care of patients undergoing interventional radiology and cardiology procedures.

Essential Criteria

  • Recent experience in an Acute hospital clinical setting

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience in interventional radiology or cardiology or similar acute care setting
  • Scrub experience

Qualifications/Training

Essential Criteria

  • Adult Nurse/RGN with current NMC registration
  • Up-to-date knowledge of professional issues
  • Up-to-date with mandatory training
  • Able to demonstrate professional development post-registration
