Compliance Manager Fire Safety

About the Role
\We are seeking an exceptional professional to join our team as a Fire Compliance Manager. This is a challenging opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced individual who has a strong understanding of UK fire safety laws, codes, and standards.
\In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of fire safety and compliance across the site, including event and non-event days. You will work closely with other departments, local authorities, and emergency services to implement and uphold fire safety protocols, conduct risk assessments, and respond effectively to emergencies.
\The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and influence diverse teams. They will also have proven experience in fire risk assessment, emergency response planning, and incident investigation.
\Responsibilities:

- Conduct regular fire risk assessments and ensure all areas comply with relevant fire safety laws, codes, and regulations.\
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive fire safety policies and procedures in alignment with UK Fire Safety Order regulations.\
- Oversee fire safety standards during events, ensuring adherence to fire safety management plans and evacuation procedures.\
- Identify and address fire safety risks, liaising with other departments to implement corrective actions.\
- Provide expert advice and consultation on fire safety matters to management and other departments.\
- Develop and deliver fire safety training programs for staff, contractors, and event teams to ensure site-wide fire safety awareness.\
- Stay updated with industry best practices and changes in fire safety legislation, incorporating these into training materials and practices.\
- Train designated fire marshals, ensuring they are equipped to manage evacuations and assist during fire emergencies.\
- Lead investigations into fire incidents or near-misses, documenting findings and recommending improvements to prevent recurrence.\
- Prepare and submit detailed incident reports, highlighting trends, risks, and mitigation measures.\
- Maintain records of incidents, inspections, training, and all fire safety-related documentation.
Requirements:

- A minimum of 5 years' experience in a fire safety, compliance, or risk management role.\
- Strong understanding of UK fire safety laws, codes, and standards.\
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.\
- Proven experience in fire risk assessment, emergency response planning, and incident investigation.\

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.\
- Ability to provide expert advice and consultation on fire safety matters.\
