Job Title: Residential Support Worker

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and caring individual to join our team as a Residential Support Worker. The successful candidate will have experience working with young women, be passionate about empowering them, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide holistic support to young women, including education, training, mentoring, and counseling
  • Assist in creating a safe and supportive environment for clients to achieve their potential
  • Work collaboratively with the team to develop and implement individualized support plans
  • Contribute to the development of new programs and services to meet the needs of clients

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Health and Social Care
  • Mental Health First Aid
  • Childcare
  • Mental Health Awareness
  • Empathy and sensitivity
  • Tactful and discretion
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to remain calm in stressful situations
  • Good team spirit and ability to take the initiative

About SHAPE Organisation:

SHAPE is an organisation that supports young women between the ages of 18-25 who have experienced various forms of abuse, as well as supporting pregnant women and first-time mothers with babies. Our aim is to support our clients to achieve their potential by providing a holistic and person-centred approach.
