Job Title: Railway Infrastructure Manager

Location: UK (Remote work options available)

Salary: £90,000 - £120,000 per annum

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

  1. Project Delivery
    * Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of signalling construction activities across our rail projects.
    * Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.
    * Monitor project progress and address any risks or issues that may impact timelines or budgets.
  2. Quality Assurance
    * Ensure all works comply with relevant railway industry standards, including Network Rail standards.
    * Conduct regular site visits to inspect the quality of work and identify potential issues.
  3. Team Collaboration
    * Supervise and mentor a team of engineers, supervisors, and operatives.
    * Foster a culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team.
  4. Communication
    * Act as the main point of contact for signalling construction matters.
    * Liaise with clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies as required.
    * Prepare and deliver progress reports and presentations to stakeholders.

Requirements

  1. IRSE License: Must hold a valid and current IRSE license relevant to signalling construction.
  2. Proven experience in managing signalling construction activities in a railway environment.
  3. Strong understanding of signalling principles, systems, and technologies.
  4. Knowledge of railway safety standards and procedures (e.g., CSM-RA, CDM Regulations, Network Rail standards).
  5. Experience in leading teams and managing subcontractors.
  6. Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
