About the RoleKey Accountabilities
  1. Lead the management of safety within your geographical area and promote a culture of safety excellence.
  2. Inspire high-quality customer service across the organization.
  3. Direct the area team to achieve business objectives and meet key performance metrics.
  4. Create an environment where customer and frontline employee feedback drives continuous improvement.
  5. Meet financial, technical, safety, and customer satisfaction targets set with the Chief Operating Officer.
  6. Ensure operations comply with policies, procedures, and standards and develop disaster and incident management plans.
  7. Develop and implement safety, train performance, and customer satisfaction initiatives.
  8. Lead real-time delivery of train performance and implement processes for continuous improvement.
  9. Contribute to business plans, policies, standards, and network strategies.
  10. Act as the Designated Competent Person (DCP) for formal and local investigations.
  11. Undertake safety tours and establish a framework for safety and quality checks within the team.
  12. Demonstrate expertise in health and safety management and compliance processes.
  13. Proven track record of customer relationship management.
  14. Significant knowledge of the rail industry.
  15. Experience managing business unit financials.
