Job Opportunity for a 1:1 Teaching Assistant

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant in an outstanding Primary School. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and support their learning on a 1:1 basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils with SEN in their lessons to help them engage with their learning
  • Communicate effectively with Class Teachers to ensure appropriate strategies are used to meet individual needs
  • Supervise pupils during lessons and provide guidance as needed

About the Role:

This is a full-time position, 08:30-15:30, Monday to Friday, starting in September. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with pupils across Key Stage 1 and 2 who require 1:1 support. The role is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and passionate individual to make a positive difference in the lives of children.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with SEN
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work effectively with Class Teachers and other support staff
