Job Summary

As a Senior Palliative Care Professional, you will play a vital role in providing accessible, innovative, and influential care to individuals living with complex and incurable conditions. You will work closely with patients, families, and carers to deliver high-quality care and support, while also collaborating with internal colleagues and external healthcare professionals.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality care and support to individuals living with complex and incurable conditions
  • Work closely with patients, families, and carers to deliver personalized care and support
  • Collaborate with internal colleagues and external healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Participate in delivering healthcare to patients and providing emotional and psychological support
  • Use IT systems to record patient information and communicate with colleagues

Requirements

  • Experience of providing care in a healthcare or social setting
  • NVQ level 3 in care or equivalent
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to demonstrate compassion and sensitivity towards service users and colleagues
  • Familiarity with IT systems, including Word and Excel
