Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced healthcare professional to join our team as a Senior Palliative Care Assistant. This role will involve providing high-quality care and support to individuals living with complex and incurable conditions, as well as their families and carers.

Main Responsibilities
  • Deliver healthcare services to patients, including emotional and psychological support
  • Work in partnership with patients, internal colleagues, and the external health community
  • Provide accessible, innovative, and influential care to individuals and their families
  • Participate in delivering healthcare services and providing emotional support
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience of providing care in a health or social setting
  • NVQ level 3 in care or equivalent
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to demonstrate compassion and sensitivity towards service users and colleagues
  • Proficiency in using IT packages such as Word and Excel
