About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Analyst to join our team at the NHS Executive. As a key member of our Finance Directorate, you will play a critical role in providing analytical support to drive business growth and improvement.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in finance and business analysis, with experience in working with financial systems and data analysis tools. You will be responsible for providing high-quality financial analysis and intelligence to support business decision-making, as well as developing and implementing new financial frameworks and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide analytical support to the Finance Directorate, including financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Develop and maintain financial models and databases to support business decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and develop strategies for growth and improvement.
  • Design and implement new financial processes and systems to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide training and support to staff on financial analysis and reporting.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in finance and business analysis, with a degree in a related field.
  • Experience in working with financial systems and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop insights.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
