Quarry Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Quarry Supervisor to join our team at Divethill Hill Quarry & Asphalt Plant in Northumberland. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient management and operation of the Quarry.
Key Responsibilities:- Safety Management: Conduct risk assessments, health and safety inspections, and demonstrate leadership in safety to ensure a safe working environment.
- Quarry Operations: Support the Quarry Manager in managing production and extraction activities, troubleshooting technical problems, and overseeing planning and coordination with other departments.
- Administrative Duties: Perform administrative tasks, including writing reports, updating records, and reviewing electronic defect databases.
- Time Management: Plan and organize work in a time-efficient fashion to meet deadlines and achieve goals.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination.
- Experience: Background in the extractive industry, with experience in mobile/static plant operation, problem analysis, and compliance.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, ability to handle details and paperwork, and planning and organizing skills.
- Qualifications: Red/Blue card in wheeled loading shovel operation and experience of operating mobile and/or static screening plant.
