Quarry Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Quarry Supervisor to join our team at Divethill Hill Quarry & Asphalt Plant in Northumberland. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient management of the quarry.
Key Responsibilities:- Safety Management: Conduct risk assessments, health and safety inspections, and demonstrate leadership in safety to ensure a safe working environment.
- Operational Oversight: Support the Quarry Manager in managing production and extraction activities, troubleshooting technical problems, and overseeing planning and coordination with other departments.
- Administrative Duties: Perform administrative tasks, including writing reports, updating records, and reviewing electronic defect databases.
- Time Management: Plan and organize work in a time-efficient manner to meet production targets.
- Industry Expertise: Possess a strong background in the extractive industry, with experience in mobile and static plant operation, problem analysis, and interpersonal skills.
- Red/Blue card in wheeled loading shovel operation
- Experience in operating mobile and/or static screening plant
- Problem analysis and troubleshooting skills
- Interpersonal skills and ability to work with others
- Detail handling and administrative skills
- Planning and organizing skills
