About the Role:


We are seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a local primary school in Norfolk. As an SEN TA, you will provide one-to-one and group support to pupils with ASD across Key Stage 1 and 2.


The ideal candidate will have experience working with children who have additional needs, either in a mainstream or special needs school. You will be patient, compassionate, and able to use creative methods to help children understand.


A salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum is available for this role, depending on experience.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Provide one-to-one and group support to pupils with ASD
  • Use communication aids such as PECs and Makaton to support non-verbal children
  • Work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop personalized learning plans

Requirements:



  • Experience working with children who have additional needs
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to use creative methods to help children understand
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
