The University of Cambridge seeks a highly experienced Senior Clinical Research Associate to join the Vitreoretinal Research Group.
Job DescriptionThis is an exciting opportunity for a world-leading researcher with expertise in inherited vitreoretinopathies and their surgical management. We invite applications from suitably qualified individuals who have a proven track record of clinical expertise and academic research in Vitreoretinal surgery with extensive post CCT fellowship training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pursue innovative research projects in Vitreoretinal surgery, focusing on inherited vitreoretinopathies and their surgical management.
- Develop and maintain a leading research presence within the University of Cambridge, attracting research grant support to further this development.
- Mentor and supervise researchers, including undergraduates, research students, and postdoctoral researchers, to foster a culture of excellence and innovation.
- Contribute to clinical service delivery under an honorary consultant contract with Cambridge University NHS Foundation Trust.
- Fulfill standard research and clinical duties associated with the grade, which include teaching, examining, supervision, administration, and research.
A competitive salary of $150,000 - $200,000 per annum will be offered, commensurate with experience.
