VP Finance Leader

At Assured Guaranty, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced VP Finance to join our Structured Finance Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and negotiating structured finance transactions with UK and European financial institution sponsors.
Key Responsibilities:- Originate and close structured finance transactions, leveraging existing relationships and market opportunities.
- Design and implement spreadsheet-based financial models to support transaction analysis.
- Lead transaction-specific due diligence, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Collaborate with rating agencies to facilitate the shadow rating process.
- Contribute to special projects and duties as required.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in structured finance or a related field.
- Undergraduate degree from a top-tier university, preferably in finance, accounting, or a quantitative discipline.
- Significant knowledge of fixed income capital markets, with a focus on structured finance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with clients, senior management, and departmental members.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small, cohesive team.
