Job Title: VP Finance

Assured Guaranty is seeking a highly skilled VP Finance to join our Structured Finance Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and negotiating structured finance transactions that provide credit enhancement for financial institutions, corporate securitizations, and financings of financial assets.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Originate and close structured finance transactions with UK and European financial institution sponsors.
  2. Develop and maintain complex financial models to analyze and evaluate transaction risks.
  3. Lead transaction-specific due diligence and work with rating agencies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  4. Collaborate with senior management and other departmental members to drive business growth and development.
Requirements:
  1. 10+ years of experience in structured finance, with a strong background in financial modeling and analysis.
  2. Undergraduate degree from a top-tier university, preferably with a focus on finance, accounting, or other quantitative discipline.
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with clients and senior management.
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
