Responsibilities:

* Prepare and present financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
* Develop and manage the annual budget, conduct financial forecasting, and advise on corrective actions for variances.
* Establish and maintain robust internal controls, manage audits, and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
* Oversee cash management, including accounts payable and receivable, to ensure operational liquidity.
* Conduct financial analysis to support strategic business decisions and assist in strategic planning.
* Lead and develop the accounting team, promoting best practices and adherence to updated accounting standards.
* Manage tax planning and compliance, ensuring timely filing of tax returns and liaising with tax authorities.
* Monitor and control expenses, implementing cost-saving initiatives to optimize profitability.
* Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies, ensuring adequate insurance coverage.
* Oversee financial systems and drive process improvements for enhanced efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements:

* Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and strategic analysis.
* Import or export experience will be highly beneficial
* Strong understanding of accounting standards, tax laws, and financial regulations.
* Excellent leadership skills with experience in team management and development.
* Proficiency in financial software and systems, with a keen eye for process improvement.
* Analytical mindset with the ability to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
* Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
