Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Officer to join our team at Reed. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of transactional accounting, providing vital support to the Finance Manager, and ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transactional Accounting: Manage all aspects of transactional accounting, including processing invoices, payments, and reconciliations.
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis: Support the Finance Manager with financial reporting and analysis, providing insights and recommendations to inform business decisions.
  • Financial Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and laws.
  • Budget Preparation and Monitoring: Assist with budget preparation and monitoring, ensuring that financial resources are allocated effectively and efficiently.
Requirements
  • Strong Accounting Skills: Possess a solid understanding of transactional accounting, including financial regulations and laws.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Excel and other financial software, with the ability to learn new systems and technologies quickly.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Organizational and Time Management Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
