Job Title: Financial Leadership Specialist

We are seeking an ambitious and detail-oriented Head of Finance who is ready to take on the challenge of driving financial excellence in a high-growth business. This role offers a clear pathway to becoming Finance Director (FD) within 12 months for the right candidate who demonstrates exceptional leadership and strategic insight.

About the Role:
Based in our Manchester offices, this position involves conducting daily safeguarding reconciliations, overseeing partner settlements, and managing safeguarding accounts. You will also manage weekly profit calculations, reconcile expenses, and produce monthly board packs. Additionally, you will conduct merchant and business analyses, track key performance indicators, and lead budgeting and forecasting efforts to align with the company's growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily safeguarding reconciliations to ensure accurate settlement of funds from acquirers and merchants.
- Oversee partner settlements and manage safeguarding accounts.
- Manage weekly profit calculations and scrape funds as required.
- Reconcile expenses weekly and monthly, ensuring accuracy and transparency.
- Produce monthly board packs and deliver financial insights to stakeholders.

Requirements:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified (or equivalent), with strong financial control experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven track record in reconciliation, reporting, and financial analysis.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial software systems.
- Analytical mindset, with a focus on optimisation and driving results.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to present to the board and other senior stakeholders.
