About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Operations Manager to join our team at Perfect Team. As a Logistics Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing the logistics, warehouse, shipping areas, and operational side of stock, order picking, and dispatch in our dedicated building.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Train staff on safe work practices and new employee inductions
  • Monitor performance and activities within the logistics function using Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Produce regular reports and statistics using Excel and our bespoke system
  • Increase efficiency of the departments and staff performance
  • Oversee the smooth operation of warehouse, shipping areas, goods in, product assembly, order picking, quality checking, packing, and dispatch
  • Manage overhead costs for staff and consumables
  • Manage on-time supply chain for inbound and outbound goods

Requirements:

  • Experience in logistics, warehouse, and operations management
  • Ability to lead and manage a team
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with inventory management and supply chain optimization
